I was tired, and had not had dinner, but thought it too cumbersome (read: lazy) to head out for food. After some difficulty navigating to my accommodation without data, I decided to settle quickly in bed. I left for Berlin on my last day of class and arrived late in the evening. I was excited about going, but I didn’t think too much about getting any fun at first, because I was on and off at the time with someone back home. The tickets weren’t particularly cheap or anything, but I had always wanted to visit Germany and had read beforehand that Berlin was a cool city, with quite a lively gay population.
